To qualify for an Oklahoma medical license, applicants must:
Hold an MD or DO degree from an LCME- or AOA-accredited medical school, or an internationally recognized school listed in the World Directory.

Hold an active, unencumbered medical license if applying by endorsement.
Submit official medical school transcripts, diplomas, and postgraduate training verifications directly to the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.
Provide verification of all licenses ever held in other states.
Complete an Oklahoma OSBI background check and FBI fingerprint screening.
Submit malpractice history, NPDB report, and any disciplinary documentation if applicable.
Create an online account and complete the application through the
Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision (OK BOMLS) Portal.
